Junior Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual/Regression Testing

Responsibilities :

• Perform manual testing on web-based and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Write and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on product specifications and user requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and provide input on functional and technical design aspects.
• Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing as needed.
• Document and track defects and work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and trends in software quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA or similar tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
