• Collaborate effectively with the call center team to optimize patient engagement.
• Triage calls efficiently, directing patient inquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Leverage knowledge of health insurance and medical terminology to assist patients proficiently.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a customer service or healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures, EHR systems, and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to multitask in a bustling setting.
• Knowledge of various insurance types and attention to detail.
• Experience with AthenaHealth systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certification in healthcare or customer service is preferred.
• Proven experience in a customer service or healthcare role.
