Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect materials, products, and processes for defects
- Measure dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Run tests to identify defects
- Compare products to specifications and models
- Document inspection results in reports and logs
- Recommend changes to production processes and assembly
- Educate production teams about quality standards and processes
- Maintain measurement equipment calibration and functionality
- Report problems and resolutions to the QA department
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies
About Company: We manufacture automotive steel wheels since 1991. Our product range comprises wheels for passenger cars, multi-utility vehicles, tractors, trucks, OTR Vehicles as well as Two and Three Wheelers. We currently have three production facilities in Dapper (near Chandigarh) Oragadam (near Chennai) and Jamshedpur with a total capacity of 20+ million wheels p.a. with a turnover of 4500cr.
