The Settlers Tavern is currently recruiting highly motivated Full Time Waiter and Waiter Supervisor to join our team. We work in a fast-paced environment alongside a talented team of professionals all dedicated to delivering exceptional dishes to our guests.

Waiter

Main Duties And Responsibilities:

• Offering a warm welcome to our customers and verifying their reservations;
• Accommodating new reservations and seamlessly integrating them into our booking system;
• Accepting orders while recommending enticing menu selections and daily specials to guests;
• Upholding the impeccable cleanliness of our bar areas, glassware, and all utilized equipment;
• Ensuring tables are promptly cleared post-service, with glasses and plates picked up, and preparations are made for ensuing service;
• Striving to achieve absolute customer satisfaction, while diligently adhering to workplace safety guidelines and hygienic practices;
• Contributing to uphold the exemplary customer service standards set by the employer;
• Executing other related and incidental duties as directed by the employer.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• MUST have a can do attitude and good time management

Waiter Supervisor

Main Duties And Responsibilities:

• Supervision, training and coordination of food and beverage employees;
• Using the EFTPOS machine and supervision of entries in accounting records required to be kept and maintained under the relevant Act;
• Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials;
• Cleaning bar areas, glasses and equipment;
• Picking up glasses and taking drink orders;
• Preparing and mixing a range of sophisticated drinks;
• Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests;
• Maintain stock control;
• Ensuring the practice of proper workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements:

The right candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with a can-do attitude and ability of working independently.

Waiter and Waiter Supervisor Job Type: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)

Waiter and Waiter Supervisor Salary: $65,000 – 70,000 per year
