Job Description

  • The Electrical Controls Engineer for a data center is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining the electrical control systems that manage the operations of critical electrical infrastructure within the data center environment.
  • These systems include power distribution, lighting, HVAC, backup power systems, and other essential electrical components.
  • The engineer will ensure optimal system performance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of control systems while working to minimize downtime and optimize energy use. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, design, and implement electrical control systems for data center operations, including power management and backup systems.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of control systems and equipment.
  • Conduct tests on control systems and electrical circuits to verify proper operation, performance, and safety compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for electrical control systems, ensuring that all equipment is fully operational and meets industry standards.
  • Work closely with facility managers, electrical engineers, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate electrical control requirements. Technical Skills:
