The Role

As the IT Operations Lead, you’ll be at the helm of our technology infrastructure. Your role will involve:

• Overseeing critical systems and networks: You’ll be responsible for the operation, deployment, and maintenance of the City’s network, servers, databases, and cloud services.
• Leading a dynamic IT team: Providing direction, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring data security and reliability: Manage and secure data archiving, backup, and recovery systems to protect City data and maintain operational continuity.
• Innovating and optimizing: You’ll collaborate with other IT Leads to analyze existing systems, recommend upgrades, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that streamline processes and support City-wide initiatives.

• 4+ years of IT experience with skills in database administration, team management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership abilities and the flexibility to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
• A strong understanding of enterprise-level IT systems and the ability to make strategic recommendations to enhance city operations.
