Location: London (Office with some remote working available)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Role Overview

As the first point of contact for 85 users with IT queries, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations across the company. Working closely with the Head of IT, you’ll assist in day-to-day tasks while responding promptly to service issues and requests. Whether it’s troubleshooting technical problems over the phone or in person, installing software, or configuring hardware, your expertise will be critical.

Role & Responsibilities

  • 1st and 2nd line support for all day to day IT queries. This includes Login queries, Duo and Microsoft MFA, Remote access VPN, Application install/support, Teams support, and general troubleshooting.
  • Manage the new starter process, which includes creating user accounts, adding to groups, assigning licenses, installing and configuring applications, and onboarding.
  • Manage the leavers process, which includes receiving hardware back, removing licenses, archiving mailboxes and data and removing system access.
  • Operate the portals used to manage application licensing.
  • Use Mimecast admin portal to manage email.
  • Manage the laptop estate, set up new laptops, and maintain the asset database.
  • Manage the laptop re-use scheme.
  • Organise repairs of broken equipment with Lenovo/HP.
  • Be onsite daily at Temple Chambers to assist with users directly.
  • Use the Mobile Device Management tool to identify devices that need updates and remediate.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience providing desktop support in a Windows environment.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 11 PC’s.
  • Basic Microsoft Azure AD knowledge.
  • Hosted Exchange experience.
  • Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Understanding of Networking, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.

Desirable Skills

  • Apple mac support experience.
  • Hosted SharePoint administration experience.
