Job Description
We are working with Habodel, a pioneering force in the UK rental market, to recruit an exceptional Operational Leader to drive the performance of their national property portfolio. With a mission to create a simpler, fairer, and more sustainable rental experience, Habodel is setting new standards in long-term housing.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, sitting on the Operating Board and working closely alongside the Regional Head of Operations. The successful candidate will:
• Oversee resident services, ensuring a high-quality rental experience
• Lead national support programs across lettings, rent collection, complaints handling, and contractor management
• Implement strategic initiatives to optimise portfolio performance and enhance service delivery
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and health & safety standards
• Develop and manage high-performing teams and contractor networks
• Drive cost efficiency and procurement strategies to balance value, quality, and flexibility
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced operational leader with a background in property management and a strong understanding of financial, regulatory, and service-driven operations. The ideal candidate will have:
• A strong understanding of property management and the real estate sector, ideally with an emphasis on property works and experience of contractor management
• Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
• A service-first mindset, ensuring excellent resident experiences
• Leadership skills to inspire and manage teams effectively
• A problem-solving approach, with the ability to drive innovation and process improvement
