As a Dispensing Optician at Lenskart, you will be responsible for helping customers select eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal style preferences.
Provide expert advice on the best lens options, frames, and coatings to meet the customers’ visual and lifestyle needs.
Utilize your knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and fitting measurements to ensure accurate and comfortable eyewear for each customer.
Assist in frame styling and adjustments to guarantee the perfect fit and alignment for customers.
Collaborate with the optometrists to verify prescriptions and address any concerns or issues with the eyewear.
Keep detailed and accurate records of customer prescriptions, orders, and specifications.
Stay updated on latest eyewear trends, lens technologies, and industry developments to provide outstanding service.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to create a positive and seamless experience.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including displays, inventory, and equipment.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure high-quality customer service and compliance.
Requirements:
0-10 years of experience as a Dispensing Optician or similar role.
Proficiency in understanding and interpreting optical prescriptions.
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and lens coatings.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and ability to provide accurate measurements and fittings.
Familiarity with vision insurance plans and billing processes is a plus.
Certification or licensure as a Dispensing Optician is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
