About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our retail communications team, as our next Marketing Communications Specialist. You will be at the forefront of engaging with our customers and driving outstanding marketing communications that aim to acquire new high value customers and underpin EnergyAustralia’s success. Some of the activities your role will include are:

  • Managing the development of insight-led communications – to support above and below the line acquisition-based campaigns. From communications strategy and agency briefing, through review & approvals, to implementation, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery
  • Responsibility for delivering high quality communications whilst balancing complex legal and regulatory requirements
  • Developing personalised communications based on targeted audience segments. Building communications strategies that navigate a consumer from awareness to purchase, using our CDP to build use cases (multi touch point, multi channel, trigger based, insight led and outcome driven communications)

About You

To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified with at least 5 years marketing communications experience, gained from a highly regulated industry and customer-centric organisation. With strong project management skills, you will have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Key skills we’re looking for are:

  • Excellent project management and delivery skills, preferably experienced in Jira
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Organised and detail focussed with a strong ability to prioritise tasks
  • Adaptable and proactive, ready to tackle challenges in a dynamic setting
