Job Description
Pendage is seeking Procurement Manager to lead and optimize sourcing and RFx processes for professional services procurement. This role will focus on developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring compliance while aligning procurement initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for professional services categories, including consulting, legal, financial, HR, and other business services.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess service providers, industry trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead complex supplier negotiations to secure the best pricing, terms, and value-added services.
- Continuously evaluate and refine category management strategies to ensure alignment with business priorities.
RFx Management (RFI, RFP, RFQ):
- Develop and manage RFx processes to drive competitive supplier selection for professional services.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define scope, evaluation criteria, and sourcing strategy for professional services RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Analyze vendor proposals, assess capabilities, and make data-driven recommendations for supplier selection.
- Ensure RFx processes align with compliance, risk management, and business requirements.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure service quality, performance, and contractual compliance.
- Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews and driving continuous improvement.
- Partner with key business units (e.g., Legal, Finance, HR, IT) to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and contract renewals to mitigate risk and optimize value.
Process Optimization & Compliance:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and cost-effectiveness in professional services procurement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in professional services procurement, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud), with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Preferred: Experience in high-growth environments, vendor risk management, and familiarity with ESG procurement initiatives.
