Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator on our Sub-Assembly line, where you’ll be responsible for operating machinery to cut and bend pipes for air conditioner manufacturing. This role operates from 3:15pm – 11:15pm, Monday – Friday. Reporting to the Sub-Assembly Line Supervisor, this busy, hands-on role includes the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate large and small cutters, Carson bend, and CNC machines for bending
- Brase and fabricate sub assembled components when cover is required
- Follow job sheets and engineering drawings
- Demonstrate and adhere to safe work practices
- Inspect components for quality assurance before delivery to the next department
- Provide flexibility by working in all areas of production as needed
Qualifications
You will have experience and skillsets in the following:
- Experience with machines for pipe work, cutting, and bending
- Ability to understand drawings specifying pipe length and diameter
- Computer literacy for programming machines
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and dimensions
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Good team player with reliable attendance
