Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Framing & Structural Work: Construct and install walls, floors, roofs, and partitions for various projects.
Finish Carpentry: Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other finishing elements.
Metal & Wood Construction: Work with both traditional wood and pre-engineered metal building components.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret and execute construction drawings, blueprints, and technical plans accurately.
Site Preparation & Installation: Measure, cut, and shape materials to required specifications using hand and power tools.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations while maintaining a clean and secure job site.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of carpentry experience in commercial or industrial construction.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and follow construction blueprints and schematics.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to job site challenges.
Valid Drivers License: Required for travel to project sites in and around Henderson, NC.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Varco-Pruden pre-engineered metal buildings.
Knowledge of historic renovation techniques.
Carpentry certification or technical training in construction.
