Job Description
- Serves as assistant division director of the inmate records office under general supervision of the division director, manage the inmate records office.
- Responsible for staff supervision and training.
- Provide guidance for staff conducting audits of inmate records.
- Ensure accurate interpretation of sentence document.
- Manage the sexual violent predator process and release section of the inmate records office.
- Conduct statewide staff training on IRO and sentence interpretations.
- Coordinate with general counsel and other court officials on legal document and court actions related to inmate record.
- Represent SCDC in state and federal court.
- Manage and coordinate the sex registry process for SCDC.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree and relevant program experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
A Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years responsible administrative experience to include one (1) years of supervisory experience;
OR
An Associate’s degree and four (4) years responsible administrative experience to include two (2) years of supervisory experience;
OR
A high school diploma and seven(7) years responsible administrative experience to include three (3) years of supervisory experience.
