Job Description

The Tableau Developer & Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of Tableau dashboards to deliver actionable insights across Impact Environmental Group (IEG). This role will focus on data visualization, business intelligence (BI), and analytics, while ensuring seamless integration of data from DELMIAworks (IQMS), Oracle, and Salesforce databases. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills to support the company’s data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Tableau dashboards to provide key business insights across operations, supply chain, sales, and finance.
  • Optimize Tableau Prep workflows to streamline data transformation and visualization processes.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually compelling, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Extract, clean, and structure data from Salesforce, Oracle, and DELMIAworks (IQMS) databases for integration into Tableau dashboards.
  • Develop efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to optimize data retrieval and dashboard performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data governance, consistency, and security across platforms.
  • Assist in the integration of Tableau with Salesforce and Dassault Systems DELMIAworks, as well as other enterprise systems.
  • Utilize Excel and Python (or other AI coding tools) to support advanced analytics, forecasting, and automation initiatives.
  • Explore AI-driven approaches to enhance BI capabilities and automate reporting processes.
  • Optimize data pipeline performance to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency in dashboard and reporting generation.
  • Ensure scalability of Tableau solutions to support business growth and evolving data needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Tableau development, BI visualization, and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (query writing, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Experience with Oracle databases and Dassault Systems DELMIAworks (IQMS) is preferred.
  • Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas; VBA a plus).
  • Experience with Python or other AI/machine learning coding is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience integrating Tableau with Salesforce, Business Central, or other ERP/CRM platforms preferred.
