Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs for clients and their families regarding catastrophic injuries and recovery options.
  • Provide one-on-one and group health education sessions to discuss physical and emotional well-being post-injury.
  • Create informative materials, such as brochures and handouts, to help clients understand their health conditions and treatment pathways.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate and effective communication of health information to clients.
  • Assess the educational needs of clients and tailor education programs to address individual challenges and circumstances.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health education initiatives, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and resources related to catastrophic injuries to provide accurate information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience in health education or a similar role, preferably in a legal or medical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients empathetically.
  • Knowledge of catastrophic injuries, treatment options, and recovery processes.
  • Proficient in creating educational materials and presenting information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams, medical professionals, and clients.
  • Willingness to continue educational development and stay informed on health-related topics.
