About Our Client
Our client is an international private equity investor. The firm has been making investments for over 40 years and built a presence internationally in France, Benelux, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
The team focuses on qualified minority investments in mature SMEs, with equity tickets ranging from €5-30 millions. The firm invests across a wide range of sectors including, but not limited to, industrials, consumer, healthcare, business services. The appointed individual will join the Zurich-based team to support deal execution and portfolio projects across DACH and Italy.
This hiring is driven by firm’s top management objective to expand capital deployment in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly skilled team of seasoned investors.
What the job involves
- Assist in identifying new investment opportunities (deal origination) aligned with the firm’s investment criteria
- Analyse business models and assess the strategic positioning of target companies
- Develop valuation models to evaluate potential investment targets
- Manage transaction processes through to signing and closing
- Prepare materials for internal investment and divestment processes while coordinating with co-investors and external advisors
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices on country-specific, sector-related, and transaction topics
Who we are looking for
- Previous 2-5 years of experience gained in an Investment Bank, Strategy Consultancy or Private Equity with strong finanical modelling skills
- Down to earth personality, able to easily bond with SMEs and entrepreneurs
- Excellent communication skills with competence to work both independently and with a team
- Native-level German and English speaking skills are required, French or Italian would be a plus
