Job Description
We’re looking for someone who is organised, self-motivated and bursting with original ideas. You will:
- Have experience of live broadcast studio production.
- Good research skills and a flair for writing tight and catchy cues and copy.
- An eye for detail.
- Knowledge of crafting audio to make creative & engaging content that resonates with local communities.
- Have examples of you how you have make your stories travel further via digital platforms and social media.
- Have a recognised journalism qualification or 2 years industry experience.
- Have good knowledge of editorial and legal guidelines.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Be a team player.
- Live reporting skills across TV radio and online.
- Know the BBC Radio Cornwall area, with an understanding of the stories that matter to our existing audiences and how we could do more to serve via linear & digital platforms
