Job Description

  • Lead, oversee and manage the day-to day operation of the production, quality department and logistics, ensuring that the team meets efficiency, performance and quality goals
  • Creating and maintaining assembly and testing instructions, in coordination with the relevant departments at SFC headquarter
  • Ensuring the efficiency and functionality of the Factory Acceptance Test center (FAT)
  • Working with the ERP system to guide the material flow process starting from creating production orders until packing tested and finished systems to make them ready for dispatch to the customers
  • Being the expert and contact person for production related processes and technical questions
  • Recruit, onboard and train the departmental staff
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, SFC’s policies and procedures, including ISO standards
  • Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations as well as systems for monitoring and managing production activities
  • Deliver reports on production activities and performance
  • Develop strategy plans to achieve team and organizational targets
  • Communicate and explain new directives, policies and procedures to the team members; for major changes, meet with the team to explain changes, answer questions and maintain a culture of ethics and integrity
  • Control expenses to meet budget constraints

The Successful Applicant

  • B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical with preference for Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive qualifications and experience in setting-up production, production management / control and logistics / warehouse management related senior management positions for at least 10-15 years in the Indian branch of a Multi-National Company
  • Thorough understanding of Business and Finance
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems (pro Alpha or SAP S/4Hana), E-Sourcing-Platforms, Project Management tools, MS Office
  • Excellent English skills and valid driving license
  • Willing to travel internationally for product and production trainings
