Job Description
We are seeking to recruit two enthusiastic Neurodevelopmental Family Practitioners to join our service who has a strong interest in neurodiversity. You will need to be educated to a degree level and or hold a professional qualification and preferably have experience in working with children and young people in a clinical/therapeutic capacity on an individual and group basis. Experience of working in a multi-agency environment alongside Education, Health, CAMHS and Social Care would also be beneficial. You will be an excellent and discrete listener and communicator. You will need to be self-aware and able to maintain a good home / work life balance. Good organisational skills are essential as you must be able to manage your own diary and record keeping.
This is an exciting time to be joining this service as we have been working closely with our North Lincolnshire partner agencies to develop a more integrated and multi-agency/ disciplinary service. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive group of psychologists and other professionals who are committed to working within a compassionate framework where your development and well-being will be prioritised and encouraged.
The focus of these roles will be providing support and interventions to children, young people and families who are either awaiting an Autism/ADHD assessment or who require short term post-diagnostic support. The role will include individual work with children, young people and families, co-facilitation of workshops to parents and professionals and providing consultation and support to professionals in the community.
The North Lincolnshire neurodevelopmental pathway is strongly committed to personal and professional development; the role is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and transferable skills in a supportive team environment.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) employ around 3700 talented colleagues who are very much appreciated, valued, and respected.
We have a wide portfolio which includes mental health, physical health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services.
