Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Admin Assistant to join our team at a construction site in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. This is a full-time position with a 1-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • – Provide administrative support to the construction site team, including project managers, engineers, and other staff members
  • – Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and drawings
  • – Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence, such as meeting agendas and minutes
  • – Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits
  • – Monitor and track project progress and deadlines
  • – Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders
  • – Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • – Maintain and organize project files and records
  • – Prepare and submit expense reports
  • – Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
  • – Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the project manager

Qualifications:

  • – High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
  • – Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in the construction industry
  • – Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • – Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • – Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
  • – Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • – Knowledge of procurement processes is an advantage
  • – Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
