Purpose: The reason this job exists
The Culture & Talent Coordinator provides support to the Culture & Talent Director in the areas of talent recruiting, hiring and onboarding, HRIS project implementation, being the first point of contact for employees’ culture & talent questions, and administrative duties related to the talent & performance lifecycle.

Responsibilities: The essential actions required of the job
Talent Acquisition
- Ensure application/interview/selection process aligns with Pahlisch culture and core values; connect with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process with quality touchpoints that personalize the process. Our goal is that even candidates who are not selected continue to view Pahlisch Homes as an employer of choice.
- Post positions, source candidates, conduct initial screens for designated positions, schedule interviews, schedule reference calls, make travel arrangements for interviews, process background checks, move new hires from applicant tracking to Paycor
- Maintain robust employee referral program: guide employees and their referrals through referral program and selection process
- Maintain current branded candidate materials (benefits summaries, interview agendas, offer letters, total compensation previews, onboarding checklists)
- Assist leaders in maintaining social media networks
Employee experience
- In collaboration with IT and operations, identify technology and workspace needs to be prepared for new hires on Day 1
- Assign all onboarding tasks to current team members and track through completion
- Schedule and prepare for new employee orientation and on-boarding
- Maintain current branded employee materials and personnel files (resume/application, offer letters, total rewards statements, onboarding checklists, bonus statements, merit increase letters, other documentation as assigned)
- Assist with planning and execution of culture events and employee recognition
- Collaborate with the Culture & Talent Director and HR Admin Manager on miscellaneous projects, in service of creating an exceptional employee experience
Requirements = The skills and experience needed to do the job
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years talent, culture, or human resources experience
- Experience with an HRIS system, preferably Paycor (if you are a quick study in software, please apply even if you don’t meet this requirement
- Professional HR certification is a bonus (PHR, SPHR or SHRM)
- HR Generalist experience a plus
- A combination of relevant skills and experiences will be considered in place of the requirements for an individual with 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Details
Position can be located in Bend, Portland (Tigard office), Tri-Cities (Kennewick office) and can be hybrid once fully onboarded. Preference will be given to candidates in Portland & Tri-Cities
Pay range is $61,056 – $76,320/annually with room for future growth.
