The University of South Carolina College of Nursing seeks nurse scientists specializing in brain health and neurological care. This on-site position offers a unique opportunity to join a growing cluster of interprofessional scientists and clinicians across multiple colleges. The university is seeking to build South Carolina’s first hospital specializing in brain health, with an emphasis on cutting edge technology and care from injury to rehabilitation.

Required Education and Experience
Candidates at the Assistant Professor level are expected to have:
- PhD in Nursing
- a pre-doctoral and/or post-doctoral experience and/or funding relevant to brain health,
- a focused program of research with a history of publications and grant submissions.
Candidates at the Associate Professor level are expected to have:
- PhD in Nursing
- a record of externally funded research grants relevant to brain health,
- scientific partnerships with junior and senior research faculty,
- PhD-level student teaching and mentorship.
The selected candidates will join the College of Nursing’s research team of junior and senior-level researchers with established research programs.
