What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Enter complete and accurate patient information into the Meditech computer system for scheduling and verification
• Verify insurance details and communicate necessary information to registration staff
• Conduct pre-registration calls to patients and ensure timely collection of demographics and insurance information
• Maintain accuracy in patient registrations and follow up on required documentation
• Assist co-workers and modify schedules to meet patient and departmental needs

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech MAGIC preferred) and patient access software
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
• Strong professional communication skills, both oral and written
