In-office Construction Administrator: Be right hand to the Director of Development. Northway Homes, a leading homebuilder in the Carolinas, is looking for someone smart, motivated, computer savvy, extremely organized and career oriented.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in subcontractor, vendor & inspection scheduling and effectively communicate job status updates to management
  • Assist in permitting new construction projects (a successful candidate can effectively form and maintain relationships with administrative professionals employed by the city and county, can complete online form permit applications)
  • Manage project statuses with Charlotte Water, Duke Energy and other various utility contractors
  • Manage vendor insurance and subcontractor agreements
  • Execute purchase order contracts for new construction projects
  • Prepare permit & plan packages
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel shortcuts a plus)

Required work experience: 3 years+

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 – bonus eligible
