Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining hardware and software systems to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and IT peripherals.
- Manage and support email systems, servers, and cloud-based applications.
- Monitor and maintain network security, firewalls, and data protection.
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or helpdesk system.
- Assist with software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Set up and configure new user accounts, workstations, and access permissions.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Document IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on IT best practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with networking (LAN/WAN), VPNs, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, cloud services, and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple support requests efficiently.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified (preferred).
- Willingness to work after-hours or on-call when needed.
