JOB TITLE: People Partner (HR Business Partner)
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh or Bristol, with some travel to London
HOURS: Full-time / Part Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

The PP role is broad, providing strategic advice on workforce planning, recruitment, cultural change, organisation design, talent management, reward, learning & development, people risk, DE&I and more. The role will partner with the Group Audit & Conduct Investigations team (GA&CI), which is on a transformation journey to become the leading audit and investigation function and a place where people come to develop their skills and further their careers. It plays a critical role in ensuring the Group, and its customers, remain safe and secure and can grow in a controlled environment. The team is made up of 400 diverse colleagues with a variety of professional backgrounds and they are investing in people and the skills of the future to help them achieve their vision.
As one of our People Partners, you have the outstanding opportunity to partner with a Group Executive Committee member, working with both our business leaders and our colleagues in HR and the wider Group to craft and deliver the People agenda. Works as a senior functional specialist/business partner or may lead a sub department within HR. All specialist roles contribute to policy development and seek to improve the quality of human interaction. May lead projects specific to own specialism.

What you’ll be doing
- Work closely with the Chief Internal Auditor to design, drive and deliver the people strategy that enables our Purpose to Help Britain Prosper.
- Using data and personal influence to build strong and trusted relationships with the leaders in the Group Audit & Conduct Investigations Executive team to deliver against our People priorities.
- Grow capability within the business area to ensure colleagues have the skills of the future, whilst investing in the growth of the leadership team to drive effectiveness and high performance.
- Support the embedding of the new operating model and desired culture that is driving GA&CI to be the leading Audit & Conduct Investigations team with a focus on increasing engagement, growing talent, DE&I and creating more career mobility.
- Provide support and coaching to leaders and managers to build high performing teams.

- Expertise in core HR disciplines and a track record of leadership within senior teams.
- Experience of using AI to drive efficiency and progress.
