Summary
We are searching for a team player and self-starter to fill the post of Marketing (Communications) Specialist!
You will be part of Scoot’s Communications team which manages and drives the company’s external communication functions, including Public Relations, Media Relations, Issues and Flight Disruption Management, Crisis Communications and Reputation Management.
You will have the opportunity to work with various internal and external stakeholders and participate in cross-functional projects.

- Be the custodian for the brand and corporate reputation
- Drive corporate communication activities
- Media relations
- Oversee incident management/crisis communications for Scoot
- Monitoring and reporting
- Support Group-level initiatives
Requirements
- Recognised degree in public relations, communications or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year working experience in a PR agency, or an in-house Communications or PR department. Entry level candidates with a recognised degree in a related discipline will be considered as well
- Good command of English and ideally one other language
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills; a team player
- Independent, responsible, proactive, resourceful; a self-starter
- Has an eye for details
- Good situational judgement and critical thinking skills
- Able to multi-task under tight deadlines in a rapidly growing company with a dynamic culture

- Aviation, travel or hospitality industry experience is preferred, but not a requirement
- Regional / multi-market experience would be a plus
