Role Overview:
We seek a skilled and data-driven Assistant Manager – SEO to lead and execute strategies that drive organic growth and improve search engine rankings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing SEO for mid-to-large-scale websites and will be proficient in technical SEO, content optimization, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions.
- Align SEO goals with overall business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Lead SEO initiatives for a specific category to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders for category growth updates.
- Coordinate with the product team on new product launches.
Technical SEO
- Conduct technical audits to ensure the website adheres to SEO best practices (e.g., indexation, crawl efficiency, and page speed).
- Optimize website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking to enhance crawlability and user experience.
- Collaborate with developers to implement schema markup, mobile-first optimizations, and other technical SEO improvements.
Content Optimization
Perform keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and optimize content accordingly.
Work with content creators to produce SEO-friendly content that resonates with target audiences.
Ensure on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers) are optimized for search engines and user experience.
Performance Tracking & Analysis
- Track and analyze website performance metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTRs, and conversions.
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Use data to identify trends and recommend optimization strategies.
Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities to outperform them in organic search.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with product, tech, and marketing teams to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into ongoing projects.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
– Experience working with larger and more dynamic websites.
– Familiarity with content marketing and link-building strategies.
– Understanding of International, National, & Local SEO.
