Design Engineer in Thane
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design & development:
- Create 3D models in SolidWorks and 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
- Perform design calculations and select materials to meet project specifications.
- Technical drawings:
- Develop component, machining, and fabrication drawings for production.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements.
- BOM management:
- Prepare and release accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP for production.
- Update BOMs as necessary to reflect design changes and revisions.
- Collaboration & support:
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize designs and support manufacturing.
- Provide technical support and resolve design issues during production.
- Documentation:
- Maintain records of design iterations, calculations, and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual, skilled in both design and collaboration, to contribute to the success of our projects.
