The Role

Position Purpose

The Software Business Analyst is responsible for working with key members of the business to develop and evaluate system enhancement requirements, to ensure operational readiness, and to verify that new features bound for production meet business standards and needs. The Software Business Analyst is expected to take ownership of the software development process from business needs analysis, through the requirements gathering, to UAT with guidance from Management or Software Business Analyst III.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the conduit between the customer and the software development team through requirements gathering with supervision from Management or Software Business Analyst III.
• Verify operational readiness and accuracy of cases developed by the software team on mid-level to high-level projects.
• Provide mid-level to high-level technical support.
• Work closely with others to identify, document, and create new feature requests and bug reports on mid-level to high-level projects with supervision from Management or Software Business Analyst III.

Ideal Profile

Position Requirements

• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Software Business Analyst role.
• Previous experience in business intelligence, analysis, or other related field (essential expertise in gathering and eliciting requirements, creating technical documentation).
• Knowledge of Computers and applications such as MS Office, Jira, Jason, Postman, DB.
• Experience working in SaaS software design or development.

• Mastery of the Software Development Lifecycle (analyst, design, testing and support) and the capabilities and possibilities of software applications.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to document requirements and perform quality assurance testing for mid-level to high-level projects.
• Provide Technical Support on mid-level and high-level issues.

Education Requirements

Desired Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable degree, or equivalent experience
