We are looking for a Office Manager in Cape Town with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in operations and administrative processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking a dynamic role within a growing and ambitious company.
This fast-paced role offers an excellent opportunity to work on direct administration function, HR, policies, procedures, government authorities and internal communication.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of an office on a day-to-day basis
- Oversee general office operations, supporting and coordinating with the operations team in Dubai
- Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, and provide world-class service to employees and customers
- Organize company events or conferences and provide marketing and communications support
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships for various operational departments (IT, marketing, HSE
- Oversee office maintenance and ISO audit in London
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT equipment setup, payroll liaison, and exit interviews
- Handle additions to medical and life insurance, including processing employee endorsements (additions, deletions, amendments).
- Establish a local network of suppliers
- Liaise with government authorities in London, renew licenses and insurance and manage government portals
The ideal candidate fits the below profile:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Adaptability, enabling the Operations Manager to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
- Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which are essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects
- 5 years of experience managing an administrative function
- Familiarity with business and financial
