Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all pre-construction activities, including estimating, bidding, and procurement.
  • Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams to develop project plans and budgets.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project success.
  • Develop and refine estimating processes to improve project forecasting and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate pricing and scope.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or construction management.
  • Strong background in commercial construction projects.
  • Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Ability to lead and mentor pre-construction teams.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
