Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all pre-construction activities, including estimating, bidding, and procurement.
- Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams to develop project plans and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project success.
- Develop and refine estimating processes to improve project forecasting and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate pricing and scope.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or construction management.
- Strong background in commercial construction projects.
- Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Ability to lead and mentor pre-construction teams.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar is a plus).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
