Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the hotel’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity for both administrative and guest-facing operations.
- Manage user accounts and access for critical systems, including PMS, POS, SCM inventory, and email platforms.
- Provide technical support to guests, troubleshooting issues such as WiFi connectivity and in-room technology.
- Protecting the hotel’s IT infrastructure and data from cyber threats is a critical responsibility. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and upkeep of all IT-related equipment and applications.
- Ensure IT systems comply with data protection regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Support internal and external audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Studies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in informative system, preferably with at least 2 years in a hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of networking, IT security, PMS, and POS systems.
- Familiarity with hotel technology systems such as Infrasys POS and SCM inventory.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
