Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the hotel’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity for both administrative and guest-facing operations.
• Manage user accounts and access for critical systems, including PMS, POS, SCM inventory, and email platforms.
• Provide technical support to guests, troubleshooting issues such as WiFi connectivity and in-room technology.
• Protecting the hotel’s IT infrastructure and data from cyber threats is a critical responsibility. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Oversee the procurement, installation, and upkeep of all IT-related equipment and applications.
• Ensure IT systems comply with data protection regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Support internal and external audit processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Studies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in informative system, preferably with at least 2 years in a hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of networking, IT security, PMS, and POS systems.
• Familiarity with hotel technology systems such as Infrasys POS and SCM inventory.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
