Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial data and reports related to legal cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Maintaining accurate and current information in case management system.
  • Process litigation hourly billing events through internal database and upload to client system.
  • Request fee approval for hourly and flat litigation billing and on each event or process.
  • High volume workload with some data entry, scanning and uploading.
  • This position requires a constant communication with the Manager regarding any processing or billing changes.
  • High client contact and communication is required.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of financial information.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation for legal proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Process and analyze financial data related to litigation cases.
  • Meet client and internal deadlines and adapt to industry changes.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years legal experience
  • Working legal knowledge of foreclosure and real estate transactions.
  • Positive can do attitude.
  • Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, be detail-oriented and highly productive.
  • PC proficiency; Microsoft Office; Internet Explorer. Experience working in client systems: BKFS/LoanSphere, Vendorscape, Tempo or ADR preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with both clients and members of the organization
  • Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment.
  • Ability to problem solve independently.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift- (8-5pm)
  • Monday to Friday
