About Our Exciting Career Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, self-motivated facilitator with a positive attitude, excellent communication and strong leadership skills to join our dedicated team as a Training Manager. The Training Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs and initiatives to include New Ambassador Orientation, professional development and continuous learning as well as to support multiple project initiatives. The Training Manager embodies and integrates the credit union mission, vision and values throughout all learning and development initiatives. This position enhances the learning experience by constantly updating course content, and utilizing best practices. This position may require occasional travel to Maryland. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. A Master’s degree in Organizational Development or other related coursework is helpful. Must have at least 5 years of experience in training and development as well as success and full competence within the training and organizational development arena. This includes the ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives, and design and implement effective training and development programs. Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Prior project management experience is important along with proven and effective leadership skills. Must be very comfortable with technology to include data manipulation, file creation, and problem-solving. Strong commitment to the credit union’s vision and role in the community. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation and facilitator skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. Possesses strong organization and human relations skills. Team-oriented. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
