Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Outpatient Therapist to provide individual and family therapy to clients aged three years and older. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and their families or natural supports to assess strengths and needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver tailored therapy services. Compensation: dependent on education, licensure, experience, and other factors

Minimum to Median Salary

    • Licensed Eligible, resident, or supervisee $46K – $47.5K
    • Fully licensed $51K – $55K
    • Piece rate $45 to $51 per unit
    • Unlimited earning potential

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Assessments:
    • Conduct initial Comprehensive Clinical Assessments to determine diagnoses and treatment needs.
    • Recommend appropriate treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Therapeutic Interventions:
    • Provide individual and family therapy services directly, or facilitate referrals as necessary.
    • Collaborate with clients and their families to assess strengths, identify needs, and set treatment goals.
    • Assist families with planning, developing, and implementing treatment and ancillary services.
  • Documentation and Review:
    • Maintain accurate and timely records, including service notes, treatment plans, and assessment tools.
    • Regularly review and assess treatment progress to ensure goals are being met.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current mental health license in North Carolina (e.g., LCSW/A, LCMHC/A).
  • Preferred Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
