Position Summary
The primary responsibility for this position is to ensure Monster Energy is receiving the best value options for all supply chain services along with securing supply and capacity to fit with the company’s strategies
Essential Job Functions
- Manage product supply and availability.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate finished good shipments to customers.
- Understand industry trends.
- Understand Cost analysis and modeling.
- Project management / special projects.
- Monitor shipments and shipping logistics to make sure we ship in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and implement procedures and policies consistent with company objectives.
- Be an active member in the product development process to ensure new manufacturing capacity is sourced as appropriate.
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or modified either formally or informally, either in writing or verbally at the discretion of Management.
- Supporting routine bottler business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance.
- Provide ad hoc data analysis and reporting to the MEC sales personnel as needed.
- Excellent problem solving and general “people skills” in dealing with external and internal contacts.
- Other duties as required.
Position Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with CPG company (beverage industry preferred.)
- Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
- Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to analyze large amounts of data and creatively problem solve.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a dynamic and fast paced, changing environment and take initiative.
Base Salary Range: $69,960 – $93,280
