About the Role:
eSkillz is looking for a Consultant –Virtual Event Management to enhance our Professional Services team. In this role, you will…
- Be the primary point of contact for our Cornerstone clients supporting them with virtual event management needs and related projects coordination.
What you’ll do:
General:
- Coordinate and manage resources, schedules, and timelines across events to ensure smooth execution and delivery
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, colleagues, and presenters
- Maintain event planning spreadsheet to capture all pertinent information
- Work effectively in teams with strong collaboration and contribution to team goals
Preparation:
- Establish and maintain document repositories using SharePoint
- Set up intake forms
- Schedule and conduct kickoff calls
- Create and update job aids
- Generate and maintain rehearsal and production schedules
Execution:
- Schedule and conduct WebEx demonstrations and walkthroughs for presenters and participants
- Facilitate live sessions with a large number of participants
- Manage and coordinate training and rehearsals using Calendly (appointment-booking application) and Outlook
- Schedule and conduct rehearsals for presenters
- Gather requirements and coordinate with presenters
- Set up and manage WebEx for live training, including document uploads, chats monitoring, breakout sessions, download recordings and execution of specialty enhancement features like music, videos, polls, avatars etc.
- Develop virtual training platform navigation user aids and demonstrations
- Create documentations and checklists
- Download live session recordings from the virtual training platform and transfer them to internal and client repositories.
- Edit recordings using video editing software and use compression software to output smaller file sizes
What you’ll need:
- At least 2 years of work experience working as an LMS Administrator and using virtual event management platforms
- At least 2 years of experience in an LMS, application, help desk or training support role
- Strong experience with customer support or client management
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective organization and project management skills
- Job is home-based so you must have personal access to a reliable computer (secondary computer provided by the company if needed), hard-wired connection line, and accessible phone
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in training or customer/client support role
- Experience with web conferencing software, particularly GoToMeeting, WebEx, Zoom
- Ability to facilitate meetings in a calm, confident, and neutral manner and quickly pivot and adjust during live productions
- Flexibility to work outside of core business hours on occasion
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
