Roles And Responsibilities

Logistics Management:

  • Coordinate and manage the flow of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers and safe and efficient product distribution.
  • Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory/FG Stock levels— conduct regular stock checks.
  • Track shipments daily.

Transportation Coordination

  • Arrange transportation for goods, negotiate with carriers for competitive rates, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Optimise transportation routes to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.

Documentation And Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documents to ensure smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation as per ISO standards

Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with Rinac branches, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Evaluate the performance of logistics partners and vendors.

Problem Solving

  • Address any logistical challenges or disruptions promptly to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction
  • Implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.

Cost Management

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize logistics processes and reduce expense
