Gallery Books is seeking an experienced marketer to join our team as Senior Marketing Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will run high-priority advertising and promotion campaigns on celebrity memoir and non-fiction titles. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills; experience with project management and organization; and creativity for the formulation and coordination of several marketing initiatives as a leader on the Gallery Books marketing team.
Role Requirements & Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing. Experience with brand partnerships and social media strategy a plus.
- Campaign strategy for 8-10 titles per season, including advertising, social media strategy, author communications, in-house vertical cooperation, collaborating with publicity teams and creative presentation.
- Contributing to and consistently optimizing marketing best practices to keep Gallery on the cutting edge of strategy and creative promotion.
- Curiosity in out-of-the-box marketing strategy, including interest in pursuing brand partnerships and promotional opportunities within and outside of book publishing.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with both internal teams and external client groups (authors/agents/third party partners, etc.).
- Digital advertising and promotion expertise.
- Ability to prioritize projects and meet dynamic deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proactive and motivated leaderships skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills.
- Positive attitude and drive to succeed.
- Passion for books and marketing strategy.
- Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Fluency in Canva a plus.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
