Essential Duties

  • Customer Service Hero:
  • Gather detailed information and check in repairs.
  • Properly fill out and verify customer service requests.
  • Obtain authorization for repairs to keep things running smoothly.
  • Ensure the customer has sufficient credit for the work authorized – make payment arrangements as required.
  • Create and manage customer finance accounts.
  • Maintenance Scheduling and Coordination Guru:
  • Create and maintain an efficient schedule for ongoing and upcoming repair requests.
  • Schedule and manage repairs for technicians.
  • Track and schedule prepaid maintenance agreements to ensure preventative maintenance is done on time.
  • Cost Estimates and Invoicing Master Mind:
  • Confidently and clearly explain cost estimates or quotations for all repairs.
  • Review and invoice customer, internal, and warranty work with precision.
  • Walk through the invoice with the customer ensuring they understand every detail before finalizing the work order.
  • Determine warranty coverage on repairs uncovering hidden benefits for customers.
  • Maximize the value of all warranty claims using clever detail and resourcefulness.
  • Repair Process Management Super Star:
  • Work with technicians to identify and recommend all repair needs.
  • Communicate estimated job start time, repair progress and completion date.
  • Assign SPG’s or estimated repair times to work order segments.
  • Supervise repairs and manage service jobs.
  • Approve technician’s service report and perform final quality control inspection of the machine.
  • Customer Communication Advocate and Service Expansion Expert:
  • Be an expert with proactive communication to keep customers informed.
  • Solicit additional service work identified by technician’s inspection and found during repair of the equipment.
  • Team Development MVP:

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge on Service Department Operations and heavy equipment technology.
