The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional team, manage production schedules, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, market-ready solutions. This role requires a candidate with a passion for education technology, market trends, and operational excellence.What are some of the responsibilities?

  • Lead and manage the production team to define product requirements and execute release plans.
  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules for courses, updates, and library additions; ensure all production milestones are met, including content creation, QA, and certificate (CEU) delivery.
  • Work closely with eLearning Director and others to communicate project scope, concerns, and incorporate updates as necessary
  • Manage the inventory of online courses, ensuring seamless updates and consistency across internal, external, and reseller versions.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service, sales, and reseller partners to provide product training/demos and address content-related queries.
  • Partner with the Continuing Education Manager to manage certifications and survey requirements.
  • Gather feedback from customers, surveys, and user groups to help refine the product roadmap and long-term strategy; conduct market research and provide competitive intelligence to inform pricing decisions and maximize market reach.
  • Assist with reporting on financial performance and conducting analysis to evaluate product profitability, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Optimize production and delivery processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Research emerging trends and technologies to inform product strategy and ensure competitive positioning.
  • Support and enhance reseller relationships, as needed

What are the knowledge and skills requirements?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Learning and Development, Education, or similar) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably within the eLearning or education technology space.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and financial planning for product launches.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles, LMS platforms, and emerging educational technologies is a plus.
  • Experience managing a dynamic team
  • Skilled using elearning software such as Articulate Storyline (preferred), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, iSpring
  • Familiarity with MS Office, JIRA, Google Docs, Adobe, Smartsheets, and/or project management tools to support overall product development
  • Strong knowledge of learning delivery platforms such as LMS, LCRS, microlearning, V-ILT tools preferred
  • Knowledge and practical application of adult learning principals to products to facilitate learning and enhance user experience
  • Instructional design experience preferred
