Key Responsibilities
- Invoice and Expense Processing: Handle all invoices and expenses with accuracy and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Billing Assistance: Support the preparation of client billings, ensuring timely and precise submissions.
- Job Costing: Apply costs to jobs effectively and maintain accurate job cost records.
- Payroll Coordination: Process time entries and collaborate with the controller on payroll tasks.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Maintain organized records of vendors and subcontractors in the system and ensure efficient filing.
- Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and clients professionally.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably within the construction industry.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and job costing principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
