Graduate Opportunity – Marketing Executive

Job Description

Graduate Opportunity – Marketing Executive (Mail)

We are looking for a bright graduate to join our Direct Acquisition team as a Marketing Executive, focusing on our direct mail channel. The Marketing Executive will support the mail channel’s operational needs, with a longer term view of taking over the day-to-day channel management.

We are a profitable, fast-growing fintech and the market leader in providing business finance to UK micro-SMEs. We need your help to elevate our brand by reaching a broader audience (we are expanding our focus from the smallest of businesses to increasingly serving larger SMEs), creating consistency and moving beyond our traditional focus on performance marketing.

About Us

Fast, flexible finance empowers small businesses to manage their cash flow better and seize opportunities – making their business and the economy stronger as a whole. At iwoca, we do just that. We help businesses get the funds they need, when they need it, often within minutes. We’ve already made several billion in funding available to more than 100,000 businesses since we launched in 2012, and positioned ourselves as a leading Fintech in Europe.

Our mission is to finance one million businesses. We’ll get there by continuing to make our finance ever more relevant and accessible to more businesses by combining cutting-edge technology, data science, and a 5-star customer service.

The role:

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Liaising with the design team to a) plan the different creative executions for each mailing round, and b) regularly share performance feedback.
  • Monitor campaign results on a regular basis using Looker.
  • Deliver monthly reporting on creative testing using google sheets and Looker.
  • Running regular call listening sessions across multiple industries and business types to pull out new themes/insights to inform our creative strategy.
  • Working with core channel (and compliance/brand) stakeholders to deliver the first version of mail copy for each round, leveraging insights from monthly call listening.
  • Partnering with Firstmove, MarketReach and any other available sources to collect a repository of competitor creative inspiration.
  • Supporting the management of our unsubscribes (a bit of SQL is required, but we are happy to upskill this area).
  • Take ownership of letter/envelope proofing from the agency.
  • Working with our content team to regularly review our Trigger marketing creative, and brainstorming further campaign improvements.

  • A high achieving graduate who is looking to start their career in marketing
  • Have a curious mindset and a strong willingness to learn from the team
