About the Position We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead and improve the operations of various Plant Operations and support services. This role involves planning, directing, coordinating, and facilitating the delivery of high-quality services across multiple departments, including Maintenance, Housekeeping, Warehouse, and Food Service. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while fostering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and oversee the operations of Maintenance, Housekeeping, Warehouse, and Food Service departments to ensure efficient and effective delivery of service.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of services and operational processes.
  • Advise the Executive Director on compliance concerns and operational matters.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for ODMHSAS and other state and federal agencies as required.
  • Ensure the facility complies with all local, departmental, state, and federal fire, security, and safety laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address operational needs and resolve issues promptly.

  • Proven experience in managing plant operations and support services, preferably in healthcare or similar settings.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to fire, security, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and communicate effectively with regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational processes and implement improvements.

Job Type/Salary

  • Typical working hours are M-F 8-5
  • Annual Salary is $81,350/yr – $39.11/hr, plus generous benefits allowance

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

Master’s degree and three (3) years of professional experience, a bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.

  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us: Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults. GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.
