Specialized experience: is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Candidates for the GS-09 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as having at least 4 of the following: Specialized experience for this position is defined as having at least 4 of the following: (1) Practical knowledge of federal budgeting processes, regulations, and procedures. (2) Skilled in records and database management. (3) Skilled in financial records management and analysis. (4) Practical knowledge of contracting laws, regulations, procedures and policies to support a wide range of contracting services. (5) Skilled in planning projects, collecting and analyzing information, drawing conclusions, executing plans, and taking corrective actions when needed. (6) Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and achieve common goals.
Qualifying on Education: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the duties of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience
