In this role, the candidate will assist and support the sales team and their accounts during the sales process with the goal of obtaining and keeping accounts, to drive more revenue and ensure Etihad’s profitability, by performing administrative and clerical task following established policies and procedures to ensure Etihad sales operations are conducted in the most effective and timely manner.

Accountabilities

  • Work with Account Managers to provide relevant account information to ensure timely and efficient account handling and maintenance of account data in Etihad’s CRM tool.
  • Serve as the second-line escalation for account inquiries related to Etihad’s products and services, ensuring timely and effective resolution, with feedback to the sales team and stakeholders.
  • Working with the account management teams engagement, sales plans, implement and engage our accounts through education workshops and other engagement tools/events as the Etihad expert in distribution and our policies and processes.
  • Prepare and provide relevant content, data, and sales presentations to our account management teams in line with the Etihad value proposition.
  • Assist account managers in generating new sales opportunities by following up on leads through cold calls and emails.
  • Maintain accurate lead records in Salesforce, ensuring qualified opportunities are routed to the appropriate Account Manager for further development and closure.
  • Be curious about learning and growth and complete all relevant trainings in your area of responsibility/specialism and be able to coach your peers to embed the learning.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Degree or 1 to 2 years of work experience within relevant field with focus on sales support/analysis
  • Previous work experience in relevant field (Sales area or ticketing / customer service)
  • Strong team player, actively contributing to the teams’ productivity.
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience with data and reporting is preferred.
  • Adequate knowledge of fares and ticketing.
