Job Description

Litigation coordinators assist attorneys in all aspects of case management including identifying potential cases and generating leads, client management, drafting pleadings and correspondence, and managing case files. As a member of the litigation team, you must be able to independently perform a variety of complex duties with limited supervision and take initiative to understand and anticipate firm needs.

  • 40 hours/week (must be willing to work occasional overtime when necessary)

Job Duties

  • Provide support to attorneys
  • Field intake calls from potential clients and summarize the contents of those calls
  • Communicate with and manage existing clients
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, etc. for review and use by attorneys
  • Review, organize, and summarize case materials
  • Conduct research and investigations as needed and directed
  • Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, and trial preparation
  • Record, analyze, and organize case documents and client data
  • File pleadings and other documents with court
  • Save court documents to case file
  • Calendar and monitor case deadlines
  • Schedule appointments, travel arrangements, depositions, and client meetings
  • Manage firm social media accounts and advertisements
  • Exercise independent judgment when prioritizing work assignments
  • Perform other miscellaneous administrative and support duties as assigned
  • Back-up/support other Administrative Assistants and Litigation Coordinators, as needs arise

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Computer literate and able to provide ad-hoc tech support
