Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Electrical Equipment: Manage and control electrical switch gear, transformers, generators, and other equipment to regulate power distribution.
  • Monitor Systems: Continuously monitor voltage levels, current flows, and system parameters to detect potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose electrical faults, isolate problems, and perform necessary repairs to maintain system functionality.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Take immediate action in the event of electrical emergencies such as power outages or equipment failures, following safety procedures.
  • Record Data: Log operational data, including power usage, equipment status, and irregularities, and provide reports to relevant personnel.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all electrical safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
